‘First Man’ Launches into Cinemas

First Man is a brand new, 2018, re-creation of the first space walk on the moon. Just when you think that all of the movies that could possibly be made about this event have been exhausted, this worthwhile endeavor has come into the picture. Directed by Damien Chazelle, this movie starts Ryan Gosling, Claire Foy, and Jason Clarke. It has always received great reviewed and two Academy Award nominations.

The movie itself is centered around eight years of the life of Neil Armstrong, from 1961-1969. It follows him through his journey to become the first man to ever walk on the moon, and talks about the history of space travel. It is more than just a historical film, as the characters really bring the events surrounding this mission to life. The budget for this film was $60 million, and the first weekend alone Brough in $21 million in the United States alone. It appears poised for a good run in the theaters.
